This is a post without title - 1

Salam 'alaikum. Salam buat semua.

Alhamdulillah.
Macam mana persediaan exam semua?
Hah? Dah habis exam?
Tak. Bukan exam tu.
Exam yang laaasssttt sekali tu.
Haa.
InsyaAllah.

Nampaknya dah masuk hari ke-4 berturut-turut saya tak keluar rumah.
Walaupun cahaya matahari kat luar menari-nari memanggil saya.
Wait for me my Sunshine!

Dalam usaha saya menjadi seorang nerd.
Dalam 4 hari ni juga, saya turut tak makan, tak tidur, tak mandi, tak macam-macam lagi.
Ok. NOT!
Oh. Walaupun saya dah baca (la sangat kan), tapi saya tetap tak boleh jawab soalan.
Nampaknya saya tidak khatam dengan cemerlang.

Kata seorang yang tidak mahu identitinya di-public-kan,
"Ala, final anatomy je pun. Bukan final BCA pun"
"Huh? BCA?"
"Buku catatan amalan"
Oh! Anda benar.

Cerita 1

Ketika saya bertadabbur surah al-Haqqah, iaitu surah ke-69, i came across this very interesting ayat.
Mungkin keadaan sekarang yang membuatkan saya agak teruja bila membaca ayat ni.
Mungkin kalau waktu lain saya baca ayat ni, saya akan baca secara skimming and scanning.
Tapi ketentuan dan perancangan Dia sangat indah!
Terjemahan ayat 43 - 46:
Ok. Terhenti bacaan saya. Pembuluh? Pembuluh bukan artery ke?
Artery of the heart? Which one?
Disebabkan saya baru je review thorax minggu ni, maka saya pun terfikir. Ya, tau la nak exam anatomy. Harus ke obses? -_-"

Coronary artery.
Right - Right coronary artery - Atrial branch - Sinoatrial nodal branch - Right marginal branch - AV nodal branch - Posterior interventricular branch.
Thus supplying the right atrium, right ventricle, posterior 1/3 of the IV septum, SA node (in 60% of people) and the AV node (80%)

Left - Left coronary artery - IV branch - Circumflex branch - Left marginal branch - Posterior left ventricular branch.
Thus supplying left atrium, left ventricle, anterior 2/3 of the IV septum, apex of the heart.

So, which artery?
Mungkin vein kot.

Cardiac vein.
Right - Anterior cardiac vein - small cardiac vein -(joined by) Middle cardiac vein.
Left - Great cardiac vein -(joined by) Oblique vein of Marshall -(and) Posterior vein of left ventricle .
Both of which drain into the coronary sinus.

Sambil menggalakkan keobsesan diri, saya pun buka terjemahan English.
Tak puas hati la. Nak tau artery ke vein. (Saya expect translation dia "vessel")

"And we should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart". [ 'Abdullah Yusuf 'Ali]

Ok. Nasib baik bukan coronary artery atau cardiac vein, or i would've gotten a cardiac arrest.

Mari kita lihat, kenapa artery.
Artery, as we already know, sangat penting for the transport of oxygen to the tissues, kan.
So kalau artery dah kena potong, blood supply restricted, ischemia, death. Ok, mungkin myocardial infarction dulu.
The point is death.

Tengok eh, dah la artery, cordis (Latin for "of the heart") pulak tu.
Both are vital. Both pun dalam system yang sama, circulatory.
Kalau artery of heart kena potong, surely darah yang flow direct daripada aorta tu akan spurt out, menyebabkan pericardial effusion, increased intrapericardial pressure, causes cardiac tamponade, and death. And subsequently causes the practitioner in charge to lose his/her license. -_-"
Kalau tak sempat cardiac tamponade pun, sebab MI. Heart tak dapat darah = death juga.
Intereesssting. See why i love anatomy so much?

Saya tak puas hati lagi, saya pun cari English translation online. And guess what i found.
"Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta." [Shakir]

Erk!! Ok.

Kalau aorta lagi best. Cantas je aorta tu, bukan spurts lagi dah, memang bagai mencurah ke ladang gandum. Dengan high pressure dari left ventricle. Definitely instantaneous.

Imagine eh, if Rasulullah (SAW) has written the Quran by himself, as what many have proposed, how would seorang yang tidak tahu membaca atau menulis, have known this?
Kita yang dah belajar anatomy ni pun, not to say we know better - just a figure of speech, kalau bunuh orang fikir paling kuat potong pun carotid artery and jugular vein je. Kan? Yang berkenaan, tolong terasa. =p
Nampak tak?
So tolong fikir atas dasar iman ye.

And guess who the 'Father of Circulatory Physiology' is?
Nope. Not Galen.
Not Ibn Sina either, though he did find the theory of pulsation.
It was Ibn al-Nafis, an Arabian physician.
Zaman bila Ibn al-Nafis ni jumpa benda ni?
Yup, the Golden Age. And yeah, the 'Dark Ages' if that's more familiar to you.
Zaman kerajaan Abbasiyyah.
Zaman yang sama dengan Ibn Sina, Al-Farabi, Al-Biruni, Abbas Ibn Firnas, Ibn al-Haythem, Al-Jazir, Al-Ghazali, Al-Khawarizmi, Al-Razi, Abu al-Qasim al-Zahrawi, Ibn Zuhr (interestingly, he was the one who invented tracheotomy, something our teachers forgot to mention in class, or maybe they don't know. Let's tell them! =D) and, Subhanallah, many other great figures and influenced so many of the later physicians and theories. (btw, tolong google kalau tak kenal. Tak kenal maka tak cinta. Dah kenal nak study pun jadi teruja)
And yet here we are, struggling for anatomy final, learning what was once 'our field of expertise'.
Teruskan my friends. Kita bina semula kegemilangan ummah.
Ke arah Platinum Ages, mungkin.

Adakah kau lupa....(sila menyanyi di sini)

Meet Abu Ahmad, the newest member of Baklawa Domu. He was martyred a few years ago. You see, he lost his left foot. But not to worry, he's already received a prosthetic foot now, thanks to your generous donation =)
(And no, this is not a real set. This is some kind of puzzle skeleton. Every worthy future doctors know that posting photos of real skeleton and cadaver to public is strictly prohibited by doctor's ethic as well as in Islam. And is considered as unethical-how-are-you-honestly-going-to-be-a-doctor-and-save-lives-if-you-can't-even-comprehend-and-follow-such-a-simple-ethics)

Cerita 2

Berkenaan tujuan Freedom Flotilla.
Lepas tengok, baru saya tersedar.
Mereka juga macam kita.
The Palestinian, i mean.
Kehidupan tak ubah macam kita.
Makan sedap, tengok TV, main game, internet, tidur selesa.
Hilang communication dengan outside world.
Hilang ahli keluarga, tempat bermanja.
Oh! How ignorant i have been all this while!
What have i been expecting to see?
I don't know. All this while i thought, maybe, just maybe, they lived in an underdeveloped environment.
A third-world country perhaps?
Oh! Which of the Favours of your Lord will you deny?
Oh. Oh. OH!

Maka faham la perbuatan mereka mengutuk zionis.
Maka faham la perbuatan mereka membaling batu kepada mereka.
Maka faham la 'terrorist act' mereka.
Maka faham la suicide bombing mereka.
Oh!

I am not implying that suicide bombing is the right thing to do.
It is wrong, yes, i would agree.
But all this while, i've always been wondering, why on earth would they want to kill themselves and all the innocent citizens? Yes, they are supposed to be considered innocent.
When they know kalau adab perang dalam Islam, memang tak benarkan kerosakan awam dan pembunuhan orang awam. What do they expect? Jannah?

Tapi bila saya lihat keadaan mereka lepas diserang tentera zionis, fahamlah saya keadaan mereka.
Ya, saya tak mungkin tahu penderitaan yang mereka lalui.
Saya tak rasa, saya tak lalui. Tapi ketahuilah, bersabar itu lebih baik buatmu!
Though i don't know what i would do if it was me.
Try to put ourselves in their shoes.
Subhanallah.

Kenapa kita tak boleh bantu mereka?
Sedangkan Palestine pernah dibebaskan masa zaman Khalifah Umar al-Khattab dan masa zaman Salahuddin al-Ayyubi.
Kenapa? Apa sebab?

Sekali lagi.
Adakah kau lupa.....

Penutup

Ceehh. Over lak ada penutup-penutup.
Eh suka hati la!

Kesimpulannya, mari sambung belajar anatomy!
Adakah kau lupa...... (branches of Trigeminal nerve dan maxillary artery. Oh!)

Even Abu Ahmad supports Palestine!
Oh by the way, if you happen to want to learn from a close-to-the-ones-in-the dissection-room-instead-of-just-a-book, please do come by. Girls only though.

Ilmu itu juga harta. Maka infakkanlah.

ps: Effect of studying CNS early in the morning is very much like drinking a cup of w Biegu coffee. Oh! -_-"

Sekian.
